How to reach the the 60, 100, 111 Centre Street Courthouses:
From the East Side:
4, 5, 6 (Lexington Avenue 4) To the Brookln
Bridge stop. If you stay at the back of the train, you'll come out through
the Municipal Building on Centre Street. Walk away from the Brooklyn Bridge,
and you'll see the courthouses.
N, R (Broadway Local) to City Hall. One exit is on Broadway in front of City Hall--just south across City Hall Park--the other is behind City Hall, parallel to Centre Street.
From the West Side:
1,2,3, 9
to Chambers Street, walk three blocks east on Chambers to Centre, and make
a left.
J, M, Z to Chambers Street, directly in front of the federal courthouse and a few steps from 60 Centre Street. But this exit is often closed by police, and is thus unreliable.
How to reach the the 71 Thomas Street Courthouse:
By Subway:
On the East side of Manhattan, take the Lexington Avenue line (Nos. 4, 5, 6) and get off at Brooklyn Bridge/City Hall. On the West side, take the IRT Broadway line (Nos. 1,2,3,9) and get off at Chambers Street; then walk four blocks east to Centre Street and turn left into Foley Square to reach the Centre Street facilities. To reach 71 Thomas Street, walk north from Chambers Street on Church Street and turn left on Thomas Street and proceed to the corner of West Broadway.
By Bus:
Take the M 101 or the M 102 down Lexington Avenue to City Hall, or take the M 15 down Second Avenue.
